Hi folks,

i have a galaxy g2-20 alarm panel and need to connect to it, a bellbox but i'm unclear on which connections to use!

bellbox is chubb delta 5 and it has these connections;

10-strobe

9 - strobe

8 - tamp

7 - tamp

6 - batt (-)

5 - batt (+)

4 - siren

3 - 0v

2 - +v

1 - siren hold off

i'd be grateful of any help you can give me with this

the strobe will also i assume have polarity markings.

If so you will connect strobe + to a permananet 12v + supply and the strobe - to the strobe output on the panel

batt + and - is for the local battery in the sounder

siren is the switched - bell

0v is permanant 0v

+v is permanant 12v

unsure of the others, never seen one

Connections 7 and 8 you could, connect these as a zone with 2 x 1k resistors

Guest old-hand

Or link 0v to 7 and use 8 as tamper return.

Siren would be +ve feed and siren hold off bell trigger.

Again never used one but it looks that way. Explained this a while back non here somewhere and i believe it worked in conjunction with Redbulls comments.

cheers
