Depends what country we are in , subject to a defined risk assessment as it appears to fairly open to the air a manual system with correct sounders might be enough to satisfy all concerned.

Thanks for answers. I found, that due to our standards

we must instal there fire alarm. Now there is other

question: what type of detectors I need to use?

a winter temperature about -25

Hmmmm Smokes, loads of airborne debris with manure.

Heats, Manure does get warm.

I`d go for fixed rate heats here personally.

(unless someone knows better)

I have a similar building to this on our premisis. No automatic detection required, just had to install mcp's with sounders. Hope this helps!

Seriously if you have to ask that question in the first place you should not be even considering going any further.

Unless you want to kill people, because you are incompetant, and you know you are, if you had a ounce of decency you would have refused to even consider a job outside of your experience.

ken

Its a forum. People are free to ask for opinion and advise. YOu have given yours, great.

But this post is from a guy in slovakia it appears.

From another post you have made you appear to prefer having a go yourself when it suits you, and then post the above when it doesnt?

Please calm down in your posts.

Have you considered the CCTV fire detection systems. Seem to be well suited to large open buildings such as the one shown. Although they are not cheap.

Database "bongs" when you enter same postcode/ address with an "are you sure radio box" popping up

1/10/2008 C S****** Ltd

need maintenace on alarm - currently done by ***** ***** - premises are house converted into workshop and offices

06/10/08 - Further call require alarm maintenance urgent

14/02/11 11:36 David ******** ~

want fire alarm / replacement controls

Somebody went to site as it where "urgent" back in 2008. 2.5 yrs later there still at the quoting stage.

Rather than go on a 60mile wild goose chase we asked for emailed plans to design new system, 4 months later we still waiting
