Door Contact Bypass?

Antman

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I have an old Bentley F-130 burglar alarm, which was installed when the house was built in 1990. It has been disconnected for many years, but I reconnected it the other day, as I am thinking of moving house - I have both an exit fault and a tamper fault showing on the panel.

Whilst the alarm was disconnected, we had a new PVC front door fitted and the old sensor went with it - which explains the exit fault! The fitter has also installed the new door frame over the ends of the wiring, so I can't get to them to put a new contact in and the wires are routed inside the walls.

So, is there a way of closing / bypassing this circuit inside the panel?

Thanks in advance for any help!
