Not in the panel programming. You would need to add a pulse relay or use a sounder with 2 different inputs

Thanks for your quick reply James I  did think of two different types of buzzer on different outputs but there are no rios near the k/pad so will leave as is.

    but thanks again.

  3. Hi I am looking to replace 7 analogue cams with ip poe cams but wanted to keep my Samsung DVR which is a SRD 1673D some DVRS can switch from analogue to ip (I have read ) but don't think this one can, does anyone know is there a piece of kit that can convert the new ip cams to use on this DVR and would the picture quality be affected.

many thanks. All cables are run in cat5 at the moment.

You probably were connected on WiFi and didn't realise

In anycase as H said change the DVR if you don't want hassle

Hi cheers for that I will try another Samsung first as I have 4 spare ones.

  5. When I put his o2 sim card into my phone it connects ok, when I put my talkmobile sim card into his phone it connects ok. When we swap the cards back mine connects in my phone, his does't.

this does not make any sense to me at all.

  6. Spoke to soon it's not working again so I spoke to cs at o2 they did't know what to do, so he came over to my house and we swapped sim cards  in both phones and could connect straight away but when we swapped back his phone back to not connecting.

  7. Hi all and thanks for all your help I have just had a phone call from my son and he says it's all working again now I pressed him on what he did to get it going again but he told me 100% he did nothing to his phone he was just reading the news and decided to have another go and he got straight in. This is a complete mystery, and he would have told me if he did anything to the phone.

    thanks again all.

  8. Just found out the problem phone is on O2 but must stress he can connect to my dvr all ok through the same Samsung DDNS that he uses for his own dvr. and both sites have worked fine for over 3 years.

    Sorry got confused

My point was ee and O2 cause problems viewing on ipolis app

You can use a free vpn app but you need to manually switch it on before app then start ipolis app and it will work

Ok cheers for that but just trying to find out why it's stopped working after 3 years, but will find out more tomorrow when I know what networks they are both on.

    cheers

May give you a basic understanding of what I mean.

It's normally more of an issue for hosting a service than connecting.

I'd have a guess the device with the issue will be Telefonica carrier.

Thanks for that I will be on the case tomorrow, but I have just found out by my wife that our daughter is on a different mobile network than her husband, so that might be the answer just strange it has been working ok for over 3 years.

    thanks again.

Mobile service provider. They often use CGNAT.

O yes just figured out what you mean I don',t know who their mobile isp is I will find out if they are the same one tomorrow and will re post, when you think about it the only thing different could be their sim card provider.

    cheers

Sorry I really don't know what you mean, they are husband and wife. Wife has talk talk isp the same as him both using ipolis apps on their iphones both have the same settings in the ipolis apps  sit together in their home both on 4g wife can connect he can't.

Service provider blocking ports? Are you all with the same provider?

You have proved the devices and the account settings if it works on LAN so the only thing I would say is left would be a service provider issue.

I connect through virgin media to samsung ddns then to his talk talk router, his wife's isp is the same as his isp talk talk, same ddns settings in the app and she can connect all ok just his phone.

  16. Pete just one last thing before I go,

if I am connected to his dvr and he tries to connect to his dvr he gets a message admin account is in use do you want to continue if he says yes then no connection all this worked up to a week ago and for the last 4 years.

Then its not the same problem I had, sorry I dont have the answer

Thanks anyway Pete yes we are all using the same settings on the app and 3 can get in but he can't I am  beginning to think its a setting on his phone as he can get to my dvr ok.

    cheers anyway

  18. Thanks Pete sorry to appear thick but I can connect to his dvr with 4g with the same account settings that he has on his iphone to samsungs ddns ie rtsp port, id, and password and the ipolis ddns samsungipolis.com/ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
