  1. I took a couple of pics just to try and balance shuttergate out on TSI lol. Easy job tbh, once I remembered how to fit an alarm.
  2. I did an alarm install (first one in over two years!) in a serviced office on Saturday, fished a couple of cables. I'll upload some pics when I'm on my laptop.
  3. I don't think their is any point pushing approval to end users, if anything it can hurt you. e.g. Punter: ABC alarms is £X cheaper than you. Us: Yes but they are sh!t Punter: But they are approved like you and you said its very hard to gain approval and it means you're the dogs ********? Us: Fu*k it just give them the job.
  4. You'll be fine if you have done everything mate. One thing I would say is start as you mean to go on and be transparent.
  5. As for badges, I'd be more interested in gaining the Ferrari horse before a nacoss badge. I did think alot about it around 12 months ago but I could not prove a commercial benefit for making the switch. I have always thought we would get it at some point to increase sale value, I'm not even sure that stands these days.
  6. Kin ell sounded good that, you banged your head I bet they work her hard.
  7. We are looking to update our list of sub-contractors as we have been let down a couple of times recently. Need to be based in the North West, we also have a project in Doncaster if anyone is local. Usual skill set, Intruder, CCTV, Access & Fire. All standard insurance requirements & certificates will need to be in place and copies provided. References from members of the forum would also be useful. Please PM details. Aaron
  8. Did you open up 554-558 like breff said? We don't use samsung but some times control and access can be restricted on DVRs if you don't open the full range of ports required.
  9. nasty? you mental ****. In what way could I be lacking when compared with a cretin like yourself? Everyone on this forum (unless they are also a bit mental) can see there is village down south missing an idiot. ps: we don't have a job more than 90 minutes drive from the office
  10. I will show you when you climb down from the roof and get dressed.
  11. How can anyone undercut you? You got a company now? ............................or even a job?
  12. I assumed AP was referring to the fact that when you go mental on here we all think you're p1$$ed, which yes as you so adeptly perceived by my 'lol' reply I found it amusing.
  13. 2 days? Feck that, it gets an afternoon normally. Not been for a couple of years. Don't think its that much use these days with forums like TSI etc.
  14. Where is the site? Give us a shout if you're still stuck. As norm said, link out all safety and see if it closes, if it does bell out each pair until you find the open circuit.
  15. As James, new battery at that age. If that does not clear the fault then you can try the monitor hardware, think its a local setting, not sure its in a wintex menu.
  16. No of course, but I assume the OP is not brain dead. This has happened to me more than once after swapping a battery after a long mains fail. Tech know about the issue.
  17. Maybe not. The prem has a bit of a bug, go into 'Monitor Hardware' and turn off Battery monitoring and exit engineer, it should now be clear of the fault. Now enter engineer and turn battery monitoring back on. Should work.
