	Hello Everyone,
</p>

<p>
	After a very long renovation and subsequent complete rewiring of the alarm system, I have returned to activating the lightsys alarm.
</p>

<p>
	Unfortunately, however, some door opening detection sensors, connected via radio, continuously give the tamper alarm.
</p>

<p>
	In particular, 3 sensors out of 9 have this problem.

<p>
	What could have happened?

<p>
	I have already changed all the battery.

	Hi, just installed my first Texecom Veritas R8, using existing old devices (PIR',s) everything is working as it should be, had to replace the old Bell for a Deltabell, but any time I set the system and it arms it sets the bell off for about 4 seconds then stops, it's like it's acting as a speaker to let you know the system is set, the keypad isn't the LED Display one so kind of limited to the installers manual but cannot see anything that leads to turning that off so it doesn't trigger the bell when set.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Anybody had this and know what to do to fix it? Thanks in advance.

	Hi, I don't tend to ask for help on anything fire/security but find myself stuck, I have a pyronix Enforcer panel and it keeps getting a mains absent fault with the first warning light on top of the panel. Then it has shown a control panel - mains fail fault with the 4th light on at the top, I have replaced the panel but still same issue, client got a spark out to run a new cable from the board next to the panel and put in a new spur, checked voltage and power to system, I also checked voltages when there and no drop, 240v at mains/spur side and 13-15v at Stepdown for panel side, anybody ever had this issue? Need this sorted ASAP and it's doing my head in now. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

	Hi. We have a legacy ADT alarm panel (Honeywell galaxy) and I have a simple question.

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Is it possible to lower the internal sounder volume?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Basically, when I part set the ground floor before going up to bed, the setting tone beeps (same when doing full set) but it is very loud and this wakes up our children sleeping upstairs.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	So any way to lower/disable the countdown noise?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Thanks

	Hi everyone,
</p>

<p>
	I’m setting up a small office and need advice on choosing a reliable and easy-to-use control panel for basic <a href="https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/" rel="external">security</a> needs. We’ll have a few indoor cameras, door sensors, and maybe a small access control system. It’s not a large setup, but I want something secure and user-friendly, especially for staff who aren’t very tech-savvy.
</p>

<p>
	I’ve looked into a few options like Texecom and Pyronix, but I’m still unsure what’s best for a small environment. Are there any systems that offer good mobile app support and easy configuration?
</p>

<p>
	Also, on a side note, I’ve been learning data visualization to better understand security patterns and found a helpful online. It’s great for analyzing logs and activity trends, so I thought others here might find it useful too.
</p>

<p>
	Would love to hear your recommendations on control panels and any lessons learned from similar installs.
</p>

<p>
	Thanks in advance!
</p>

<p>
	Best regards, <br>

	crazy question and i think i know what your all gonna say. but is there a way around the locked engineer code? on other panels you can fully reset everything with a specific link somewhere. just wondering if anyone knows a way on this panel. it's for a charity shop so they cant pay the silly prices the original installation company want to come out and put a code in (£200). worse case would be a new panel, but i was hoping you guys might beable to help out.
</p>

<p>

<p>
	i have done the option 1 9 #REMOVED#, which reset the engineer code back to #REMOVED', but when i try to get in it says its locked.

	Hi

<p>
	My house alarm has a fully working C&amp;K Securit 800L Panel with a analogue SD1+ autodialler. BT have now 'upgraded' my phone line to digital and the autodialler is now redundant.
</p>

<p>
	I've purchased and fitted a GJD710 GSM Communicator with the 3 existing wires coming from the panel (+ - and trigger). This works and the dialler rings my mobile when the panel is activated.
</p>

<p>
	My problem is that the when the old autodialler rang my mobile, I would press 8 on my mobile keypad and the alarm &amp; siren would switch off. I can't see anyway the new communicator can do this.
</p>

<p>
	Does anyone have any advice so I can get this working as before ? Thanks

	Hi all,
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I have the above alarm system. In the last couple days it was doing abnormal things.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	To start with, all PIR sensors stopped working, but the contact sensors were fine (both types are hard wired).
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Then I started getting a low battery notification in events (battery was changed last year). Then it seemed there is no power at all to the main panel or the keypad.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Now when I remove and reinsert the fuse just before the panel, the system powers on, but only for like 5 minutes or so and the whole thing switches off again. Whilst it is powered on, the PIR sensors still do not seem to be in a ready state.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Is there anything I can do/check before calling out an installer (alarm is not currently under a maintenance plan)?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Thanks.
