  2. Depending on what power you need for the fan to work , connect the fan black ground to negative / ground -ve of the power supply And connect the fan positive to NO or NC depending on which way you want it to work, And then common to the power supply positive +ve So that would.operwte the fan when the relay is triggered, if it's. Magnetic gate then that power arrangement would probably be setup via the NC route , or you won't use any power if there is an existing push button which you can wire across it without any power arrangements Or you will be probably blow it all up if your not understanding it correctly
  3. As above the relay wont have power on it, its just a switch to make the fan work you need to put power to it, but I guess this is not your objective. If you dont have a meter put one side of the fan to 0v put the other side of the fan to n/o and put 12vdc to the common then test it.
  4. You have just connected your fan to a relay I can't see that working if its a relay. Use your multimeter to see if the relay changes state or wire the power to the fan through the relay
  5. Does anyone know how to test one of these? It’s brand new with a working SIM card from a previously same model but the SIM card holder was broken I’ve powered it up and it’s got mobile signal with a slow flashing red led and I’ve connected a 12V pc case fan into the following for testing the relay: COM: Black negative wire to fan NC: Red positive wire to fan This was my thinking to prove that it can work with the existing magnetic gate I have the instructions which I will attach on here. It just doesn’t seem to respond to a request to turn the relay on so I think I need fo add my number as the authorised number or make it respond to any number using the relevant commands below Turn relay on 1234#ON# Set authorised number (this is the one from the manual and looks like an extra digit in error?) 1234#TEL0044 13500001111#01 Setup allow all call in numbers to access it 1234#AA#

  7. I would say it would stop the panel tamper activating but not the sounder from alarming
  8. Could be jamming as JW says Cha be the battery in zone 2 And did he take a ladder up to the bell or he just bell tested the ring? Anything new installed, wireless doorbell heating controls with batteries?
  9. if its not coomunicating then it wont go off again, however the siren may self actuate with a panel instruction if its tamper switch keeps operating
  10. supervision failure is bad. Usually because batts havnt been chnaged or inferior cheap ones used. Is jamming detect trurned on (should be)
  11. thanks for your reply. The second message on the siren fault was "SRN01 Superv Fail". I agree I need to fix this problem, but was wondering if there was a way (even if only temporary) to disable the alarm being triggered for a Superv Fail (not the fault being registered on the panel) as this randomly goes off at 2:00 in the morning and i'm sure my neighbours miss their sleep as much as I do mine!
  12. Thanks for your reply, Not 100% sure. I will find out. Would that cause both the "Z002 Superv fail" and the "Radio SRN 01" errors or just the "Radio SRN01"?
  13. you will need to fix the tamper issue on the bell. Id assume its not closing correctly or not securly fitted to the wall
  14. Hello all I have an Enforcer V11 which i have fitted about a month ago today i got Siren Tamper alarm and resstore required.. put my own engineer code in and tried to reset but it hasnt worked, the siren went off again. can i delete the siren at the panel for now to stop it going off randomly whilst im at work? or wont that work.?
  15. So can the siren be deleted from the panel , and will that stop the siren tamper or not ?
  16. Good point. No, it doesn't stop so I suppose it must be that the problem is on the siren box ?
  17. I tried removing the BLF jumper but it didn't make any difference I'm afraid. (The documentation says that the jumper sets 'Low input required' or 'High input required'.) I'm guessing that the problem is being caused by the 9448+ control box. Everything else works as it should including the tamper switch on the siren box which activates the siren when released.
  18. He definitely replaced the batteries in the external bell? Or thought they will be ok
  19. supervision failure means the panel had heard from the sensor for a period of time. This would mean if it needed to transmit an alarm it wouldnt get through and it wouldnt work. You dont want to disable this you want to fix the problem. There will be more info on the siren fault you will need to know this to help diagnose
  20. I have an Eaton I-on compact alarm system. Had it three years and no problems until recently when I had the batteries replaced. within the last few weeks the alarm has gone off 3 times - all in the small hours of the morning (2AM ish), twice when the alarm was not set with me at home and another time when I was away for the weekend and it was set. I have had "Call Installer Z002 Superv Fail" when the alarm was not set and "Call Installer Radio SRN 01" when the alarm was set. The installer came back to me after the first "Z002 Superv Fail". Said the readings from the Z002 Sensor were low at 3 (the other sensors were showing 9). I am going to get the installer back to have a look, but my question is if anyone knows the answer - Is there a setting that you can select so when there is a Supervisor fail the main alarm does not trigger, especially when the alarm is not set?
  21. I've connected GND to the second TAMPER terminal and that's fixed the tamper problem. I still get the blue LED's strobing permanently. Can you explain what I need to do to invert the strobe in the panel or sounder ?
