Forum Terms, Conditions & Rules: Hello to all, Welcome to the Security Forums. Before anything else, please ensure that if your username or logo contains any reference to your company, that you have permission to use that company logo's or name prior to using it. This is for your safety, not ours. Also before the rules start can you please spend a few minutes updating your member profile, if nothing else could you please fill in the location field and ensure your email address is VALID. Please bear in mind that the public sections of our Forum is viewable by Visitors of any age. 1: Polite Posts - No amount of offensive language 2: Search before asking: Though breaking this rule is not a serious offence, we ask that you save us some time and energy and search before you post. If you decide not to do this, you will be instructed to do so and directed to a thread in which a similar question lies. 3: Software piracy in strictly prohibited: Rationalize it all you want, piracy is stealing. There shall be: No Warez Software, or other copies of copyrighted material. 4: You must not discriminate: Discrimination against race, gender, nationality, or opinion is not allowed. Everybody is equal, and prejudice and hate do not help this forum. You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this Forum to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, abusive, hateful, harassing, obscene, sexually explicit, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. Hate speech is not tolerated. We will not tolerate abuse upon another member. 5: No Impersonations & One account per user, please: Please do not register multiple accounts. Whether they are created for the purposes of trolling, arguing with yourself, or supporting your own arguments, using alternate nicknames and accounts is considered to be spamming and / or trolling, depending on circumstances. Do not attempt to impersonate other forum members, and forum moderators/administrators. Such an attempt will not be successful and it is an offence that will get you banned from the forums -no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Please do not post email addresses, standard addresses, ICQ and other messaging client numbers, or phone numbers which are not your own. 6: No Contact Details In posts You cannot post details of your contact details in the main body of the post on the public side, any post with contact infomation will be removed. You may have you contact details in your signature and/or profile page. 7: No Advertising or Promotions: You will not post topics or messages that solicit or promote any commercial concern or transmit advertising, promotional materials, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or make any commercial use of our service. Doing so will result in the immediate termination of your account. 8: No FAO (for the attention of) posts: You will refrain from having personal discussions or "for the attention of" post with other board members. Please use the Private Message feature of the board, or email for this purpose. 9: Signatures and other Graphics: Registered members are allowed to append signatures to their posts, TSI asks that you keep your signatures to a respectable length and size. The administrators may remove or edit any signature that is too large or deemed inappropriate. We also ask that you use this feature conservatively, with respect for other members. Overwhelming images are not permitted. Ascii Art is not permitted, and signature content must adhere to forum posting rules. 10: No Multiple Posting of the same topic: DO NOT post the same topic in multiple forums. If you are unsure of which forum a thread should go under, just state that in your post, and a moderator will move the thread to the correct forum. Multiple posts are unnecessary and will be deleted. 11: No Spamming: Spamming is characterized by the initiation of threads or posts that contribute nothing to a forum, be it off topic or on topic. Examples include: empty bodies, bodies with few words that have no relation to the current thread or discussion and those posts that state they are Spam, either to annoy or increase a member's post count.
Our moderators reserve the right to edit or delete any posts they consider to be 'spam'. 12: Other unacceptable behaviour:
13: Posting of Prices: You may not post prices for your own services and or products in the forum. Links to other sites may be made if they are relevant to the discussion. 14:Footnote It is our intention to ensure our forum stays a friendly, interesting place to visit and I expect those who are not comfortable with our rules to leave peacefully and waste there time elsewhere. This site has a PM (Private Message), feature intended to be used to relay private messages between members. These messages should be deemed as PRIVATE between you and the member who sent it, and under no circumstances should it be copied and pasted into any forum postings. An Administrator’s word is final.
