Trade Application

Community Member Application for Trade Status:

1) Please do NOT submit this form unless you are a current member of our Community.
2) Only apply if Security is your Full Time trade, and you meet all the criteria detailed below.
3) While awaiting vetting, Please do post in the public forums as this may help speed up the vetting process.

Note: Currently as a standard member you can only see/view about 50% of the forums in our security community, the rest is only viewable upon being given Trade access permissions which is not granted to every member that applies. We do to the best of our ability like to do a little investigating and vetting of each new applicant to try and ensure that they are actually in the trade, so firstly if you object to this please do not fill in the form below, Secondly you should appreciate that this process takes time, so don't apply if your not prepared to wait for approval. You join on the understanding that what goes on in the Trade Forums stays in the Trade forums, this is an area where views are freely expressed and the occasional heated debate may occur.

Employees:

1. All applicants must be currently employed by a company offering installation, service and maintenance to electronic security systems.
2. All approved applications are valid for 12 months.
3. All applicants are subject to a one month probationary period.
4. All applicants must seek permission from their employer to use their employer’s name or logo, in avatars or signatures.
5. All applicants must be able to provide the information set out below;

Proof of Trade: You must be able to provide us with an advertised telephone number, and location advertised, for your employer.

You must obtain permission from your employer for us to contact them regarding your application.
OR
You must be nominated by an existing approved trade member.

Employers:

1. All applicants must be currently offer installation, service and maintenance to electronic security systems.
2. All approved applications are valid for 12 months.
3. All applicants are subject to a one month probationary period.
4. All applicants must seek permission from their employer to use their employer’s name or logo, in avatars or signatures (if required).
5. All applicants must be able to satisfy at least one of criteria set out below;

You must be able to provide us with an advertised telephone number, and location advertised, for your business.

You must be nominated by an existing approved trade member.

Manufacturer Applications:

1. All applicants must be known (by dealing’s with) to at least 1 or more of the forum administrators/moderators/trade members. All applicants must represent a company currently manufacturing electronic security equipment.
2. All applicants should publicly identify which company they are representing.
3. All approved applications are valid for 12 months.
4. All applicants are subject to a one month probationary period.
5 . All applicants agree not to undertake any legal proceedings against this site, it’s owner or any member for any content on this site, and fully agree to the forum disclaimer.
6 . All applicants agree to have a representative from their company, visit the forum on a regular basis and maintain their own forum sections if one has been granted.
