Say you  want a mid sized van..

You can buy Renault with a Renault engine

or a Nissan with a Renault engine

or a Vauxhall with a Renault engine

or a Fiat with a Renault engine

or a Mercedes with a Renault engine

If you not keen on Renault... There's a Peugeot, Citroen, Fiat, Toyota & a Ford with PSA engines

If you don't really don't want french,  either do your homework or go VW ?

How have you found the Traffic Peter?

Heard horror stories of gearbox issues on nearly new vans, perhaps they've sorted them out?

So far no problem ours is restricted so dont know if that makes a difference, the kangoo on the other hand has had a new box, and that new box has been repaired again under warranty

Lol, that’s right!

the only one that is surprising is merc borrowing a Renault engine!

Vivaro traffic primastar do have gearboxes supplies by Thornton’s apparently..... I’ve had 3 and never had an issue, they do get bad clutch judder sometimes when pulling away and that’s from brand new!

It's actually Renault-nissan for the mercs I think, on entry level cars , higher supposed to still have the Merc engine

I've got a 15 plate Traffic, had several warranty jobs so far....

Broken down several times with dodgy electrics, used to turn its headlights on when left sometimes!

Was leaking oil and now has a fault on the steering wheel, clicks like crazy sometimes, garage won't fix it as it doesn't do it all the time!

85k miles now.

I would never spend my own money on such a **** vehicle!
