Just a heads up that the the latest firmware 3.3.5 blocks a lot of dial capture units.

If the HKC panel sees anything under 30v or so you will get a line fault error. MiniAir units and their clones seem to be impacted

If it was as simple as a line voltage then surely that's to easy to bypass

Or turn off built in LF detection I suppose as a temporary fix? Not ideal, but there are other ways to show failure / disconnection of the actual unit. Can 'line failure' also be a zone type, in order to override bell timers though?

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

It's been in about a year I think.... maybe less

can't have 0 in the code -Wife won't use system due to that and doesn't want a fob

wont take 1k/1k EOLs without fitting extra resistors in the panel

Redecorating throughout so fitting a more cosmetically friendly rkp

I guess it actually stops the user entering a zero?

UK (i.e. ancient) version of bloody 9651 didn't let you have zero as first digit, since that notified the system an engineer code was about to be used.

But... still lets the mongs use a 'zero' at code change time (it says not to in manual) then that's it, once timed out or logged out it'll never work again without defaulting :(
