Reset Abacus 6-14COM to factory -

Recommended Posts

We can't give out codes or installer manuals in public, but it sounds as if you have those....

What sort of advice did you want? I assume this is an alarm already installed in a property. Have you just moved in etc...?

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

Hi datadiffusion

Thanks for replying. We were recently burgled so decided to use the alarm which we inherited. It was installed by everest but they wont support it now. I managed to reset the panel and all was well until I got a bad set. I decided to reset again to see if that would clear it but managed to reset back to factory settings. I want to know if I can recode the zone and wireless PIR's and window contacts myself or of I am on a loser. I have the engineers manual but it doesnt seem to describe programming although there is a section - maybe I am missing something? I am happy to learn and take some time sorting it, or if there is someone in my area who could help. I cant really afford a new system at the mo...

again advice either way appreciated...

Ah, so this is a wireless system. We had someone on here recently with an Everest system like this. Have a search.

Appreciate you can't afford a new system, but depends if you can make savings on Sky TV, etc...

We always say here, can you afford to be easily burgled again?

Not made as progress since Jan/ Feb ?

There is also a manual for the radio expander, i have a paper one & doubt you'll find a PDF one.

If you where local to me for around £100 we could probably program it all back on.

If you can't find anyone local to you, I guess your going to have to replace the system?
