Anyone seen a new BT line recently?

Went to a job the other day, to reconnect a privately owned careline (basically a handsfree hotline phone with remote fob) after building works.

BT had fitted a nice new NTE, the brand new sort. Cable was clearly new and digitally printed/marked 'Openreach' every few metres. And has old, 1970s style colours, I.e solid blue, orange etc! Must be either to prevent cable theft or identify non Openreach direct additions. Bugger me does EVERYTHING have to go round in circles!?

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
