paul44
Can anyone recommend a gsm dialler to fit to a customers alarm. They are ditching the phone line and just want something to dial out using sim card. Have used the risco one before but is a bit pricey. Just need something basic and reliable that can call and maybe text.

al-yeti
Otherwise most of them are rubbish, this will do you as a basic unit I have used quite a few https://www.adventcontrols.co.uk/collections/gsm-alarm-dialers/products/gsm-alarm-auto-dialer-sms-sender-6-channel-remote-voltage-measurement-monitoring
whistle
Digi Air, job done and make a few ££ every year off it.
al-yeti
Anything else I wouldn't bother , does your panel support contact ID dtmf ? All depends how complicated you want it to be Just now, whistle said: Digi Air, job done and make a few ££ every year off it. Doesn't sound as if any maintenance or monitoring involved geezer, otherwise cost would be the issue or using gsm unit that will have a payasyougo SIM that will run out lol
paul44
The customer is a old dear not a lot of spare cash. Old system and doesn't want it upgrading otherwise id stick a lightsys with module in. TBH I'm not looking to make a real profit on this one,

dufjax
+1 for digi air it's normally cheaper for digiair + 1 year monitoring than it is for a dialler / gsm unit.
