Wow they starting to move with times , I like the old touch aswell although the prox goes weird on old version , an adt guy from Leeds told me he has trouble with them to registering prox not sure why

I'd be interested to hear more about that, as I haven't seen the issue.  I have test panels set up here, so could perform some cycle based testing to see if it's replicable.

I'd ditch the smartkeys.

There's not a lot of information on the detection.

Why is the bell installed by customer?

It's always recommended to get at least 3 quotes and go with the company you feel most comfortable with, not necessarily the cheapest.

Its not the bell but rather the cable to the bell. We are renovating and getting the cable from the ground floor to the 3rd floor is a little tricky so I suggested I could run that one.

The smart keys were really just for the parents/Inlaws for ease of access.

Prox tags are way easier than the smartkeys.

I would be a little concerned of access to the EWD as I imagine the 3rd floor is pretty high.

Sorry its 2nd floor not 3rd.

I've been away all week but have another firm coming to quote on an HKC. But theyve only been fitting them for about 8 months...
