Oxo
Errrr, atracts the burglar to the panel and they wreck it. Always been taught to keep any sounders well away from the panel.

Lwillis
Wouldn't agree that it " its well fitted and looks nice" And by the looks of the zone list it's pirs for entry exit - which I've normally tried to avoid as the front door can be left wide open an the system would still set

antinode
Looks like a doorbell transformer to me, but I agree. It's bloody lazy sticking the speaker next to the panel too! Trade Member

Sound bomb in the panel with no battery, is not unknown. I do agree best to install away from the panel if possible. Would normally disconnect the built-in one in this case. MrHappy
speaker looks like a videx one for an intercom ? Mr Veritas God
Oxo
what about when panels had the speakers inside them.. Disconnect and put one remotley. But I do see your point. speaker looks like a videx one for an intercom ? Actually you can see some mains dropping in from the FCU, so you are probably correct. However my stance stays the same and speakers well away from the panel. Makes it a bad choice for the Visonic and HKC now ehh Or does the HKC use the Ext Speaker for voice commands? The keypads do the speech on the 1070 hybrid, but the quantum is like the visonic / enforcer etc in that regard as its built into the panel. You could disable it and put a wireless keypad in instead for the speech mind. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
