Hello,

I've recently installed an Accenta G4 without problems - When I powered down removing both mains and battery the external siren went off. I expected this.

My question is what does one do if a PIR requires replacement, that is, replace it with a live control panel or power down and annoy the neighbors for 20 minutes?

Or am I missing a trick?

Thanks

David

Surely if you installed it you'll know how to stick it in engineer?

Modernjim is spot on. into engineering, the replace, being careful with the wire that connects to +12v (dont short it to another wire)

Remove fuse from spur unit, put it into engineers, remove the endstation cover,
remove auxilary fuse that feeds your PIR's (or remove the positive feeds for your pir's from the terminal),
replace PIR and then do the above in reverse order.
