We are well into a very large IP CCTV job we are fitting a mix of internal and external Axis POE cameras.

So far i have fitted around 70 but still having problems focusing them. I have been using a small midspan PSU and my laptop to focus the cameras with and extension lead, this is far from ideal on a large site.

How do you lot do this ??

Note: if we try to focus using phones with one of us using a PC on site or the servers its **** as there is a small amout latency.

We have another 110 cameras to fit so a better solution to this would help, some of the ones coming up are statics on towers so the laptop method is out of the question.

Hi whistle. much cheaper than a laptop ..... came out last year by axis but now available from most cctv suppliers. well worth it for your size of job . around £200

We trialled one of the Axis branded ones and to be honest there useless. Screen is way too small and low resolution for focusing. And trying to read any of the cameras menus is nearly impossible.
Much better with a laptop, pinpoint adaptor and laptop holder!
