Now I am getting some informed answers to other topics I have another! Cabling a dome camera on a canopy using Cat5. The run is all internal until it exits the building. It is then contained on the canopy ceiling in 20mm solid plastic tubing straight into the pendant mount. Anybody see any need to use duct grade Cat5??

If as you say its in conduit from exiting the building to entering the equipment then no need for duct grade. Duct grade is basically damp proof.
Some people just need a high-five in the face with a chair.

Nope, provided the conduit doesn't sag, and the cable is kept as dry as possible...ie its not going to be permanently sat in water.

(wont hurt to put drip holes at the lowest points)

agree with above just make sure the conduit has a drain hole at its lowest point.

Thanks for the answers. There shouldn't be any low points if the canopy is level! Plus there will be plenty of saddles. Thanks again.
