That control unit is discontinued, but can be replaced for a more modern panel.
You cannot, the only way to disable the SAB is to get a ladder up to it.
You would need to replace the keypad if you replaced the panel for a different model.

This is one of the reasons why people have started to ignore alarm systems!
If your alarm goes off in a power cut there is something wrong and requires servicing.
If you don't get it repaired it is possible that...
Upon a break-in it will be ignored and/or the environment agency will call an approved engineer to shut it up.
They will leave the bill for you and then demand you repair/upgrade/remove the system.
