Guest Beachy
Hi I've just moved into a new house that has a C&K Securitech 800L Control panel and RKP. However, it looks like the alarm hasn't been used for sometime as the supply fuse has been removed. This is probably because the RKP fixing has broken and the keypad is open which would have set off the tamper alarm. As these unit as now obsolete and spares are difficult, if not impossible to get hold of; Does anyone know if the keypad for the 700L is compatable with the 800L control panel. I assume they are the same unit, but any confirmation would be appreciated

norman
good little unit, compact rkp and usable out of the box for the retards. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
9651
Would an Accenta/Optima be a better alternative? I've never seen a C&K wired up with resistors (which i believe they can be?)
Guest Beachy
Thanks Guys, but is a RKPfrom a 700L system compatible with an 800L system? Does the RKP provide a BCD code for the key pressed, over the 4 wires, to the control panel?
