agfireandsecurity Posted May 12, 2011 Share Posted May 12, 2011 Hi, has anyone got any information on the Chubb Zonemaster 404 control panel? Is it a conventional panel? or are the bases and smoke heads unique to that panel. I am trying to replace one of these with a Kentec conventional panel, but when i activate a head with some smoke i get a fault on that zone instead of a fire. FGS_Alarms Posted May 27, 2011 Share Posted May 27, 2011 I have come accross this problem a few times. Chubb use their own heads which are only compatable with Chubb panels. You will need to replace all of the detectors and bases with ones compatable with the Kentec system I'm affraid. Out of interest what was the reason for changing the panel?
