Hi,

I have a 16 channel DVR365 which is probably about 4-5 years old. They are not bad little DVRs however I do have a few bugs with the system which I was hoping may be fixed in some sort of firmware update.

The main bug is if you set it to record on the top two high quality settings the remote viewing software displays the live footage twice (squashes the feed down vertically by 50% and then displays it again below). This also happens with any footage that is downloaded to be archived.

I have checked the dvr365.com website but theres no real support there.

Any idea if a firmware update was ever released?

Tom

Hi Tom.

Can you give me the Serial number and Bois date of the DVR. (PM me)

I'm not really sure exactly what the problem is so if you can show me a screen shot that would be useful.

I can check for upgrades.

cheers,

Paul.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am unable to PM you (probably because I am newly registered user). The BIOS version is "2.8-H264 DVR(SX2-16) -2006:9: 16/10" I can get the serial when I get to work later on. Is it ok to post that here?

Here are two screen shots of the feeds.

This is when the channel is set to record 25fps @ BCIF resolution:

This is when the channel is set to record 12fps @ D1 resolution:

Hope this helps.

Just on a side note, the quality settings goes from 1 to 6 - is one best and 6 worst or the other way round?

Hi Paul,

Did you manage to see if there were any updates?

Tom
