It's gone very quiet here, why, I dont know.
There seems to be more spam than proper posts lately

Don't know about the software ....... but I'm deleting 2 or 3 spam attacks a day

guest posting appears to be the issue, trash can says 7 topics of tripe removed yesterday

I've zapped 4 today so far .... and it's only 10.30 am !

I was going to mention this.
It's filling the RSS feed on my phone daily with spam lately.

They all appear to be guests, how easy is it to post as a guest?

I don't mind guests posts as long as there not spam.
Is there not a way to make it harder to post as a guest and limit the rubbish.

I would expect it is mostly automated spam.
Is there a verification text to enter before the post can be submitted?
You know, the picture of a verification word that the spam bots cannot read.
