Type in the IP address of DVR in a web browser.
Select "Web Viewer" instead of "PC viewer"
Enter the machines username and password.

Hi thanks for response, sorry should have said I already tried that, but I get the message 'netscape 6 and above not supported' that is on HTC web browser. Any further ideas that may work? Can I upgrade it some how to handle Netscape

done a bit of searching and apparently it is down to the lack of Active X support in any broswer other than IE, which obviously isn't on android.
Anyone know a work around on this?

I hate DVR's that require IE/Active X, they shouldn't expect everyone to use IE.
Don't think there's a work round.
There's DM apps but only support NetVu stuff not the D4.

I use a Slingbox Solo to view my cameras with my phone on my DVR which also requires ActiveX. You can even program custom IR commands now so can control anything you like on your DVR from your phone.
