OFCOM STUDY ON POSSIBLE INTERFERENCE IN THE 869 MHz FREQUENCY BAND DUE TO NEW MOBILE SERVICES OPERATING IN ADJECENT RADIO FREQUENCIES.

Aegis Systems Ltd has been appointed by OFCOM to carry out a study on possible interference in the 869MHz bandwidth due to the change over from Analogue TV to Digital TV. This change-over will free up frequency spectrum. OFCOM is looking to allocate mobile services to frequencies above 870 MHz and as such is carrying out a study to see if there is any interference with alarm systems from these new mobile services.

For discussion please see the Standard and regulations area in the trade areas.
