the questions i have are,
could this be made by myself easily enough?
is £70 expensive?
any other advice about the statutory register (or any other dormant company advice) will be much appreciated as i am a little unsure.
i have posted on another forum that caters for this sort of subject but not getting replies.
thanyou in advance.

a dormant co is just that. It must be registered else it couldnt be dormant?

Dormant is a fully established ltd co that's trading staus is "dormant" = nothing going in our out at all for the next finacial year.
if you are the director on a number given ltd co you can be dormant but still file a n annual return (£15ish PA) 7 failure to do so results in an approx £100 fine.
Could you possible re phrase/ re ask the question if we've missed your Q as I for 1 am a liitle confused (not difficult, lol) with your original Q.

aparently you have to keep a statutory register at the registered address of the dormant co.
it has to be available for inspection upon request.
apparently this applies even if a company is dormant.

Yes your right.
A ltd co remains active (i.e still alive) even whilst it's trading status is dormant
until officially wound up all ltd co's have to remain listed and accountable as per trading ones to companies house & sumbit annual returns
hope that makes sense.

however im looking on companies house website and cant find much yet.
apparently the statutory register should contain documents such as shares certs and incorporation cert.
thay are telling me if i dont do this i could be fined if im asked to produce the register but dont have one.
all i can find is this
http://www.companies...gba10.shtml#one

Why do people not use search engines to find basic info.
The times I help out, as others do no doubt when the information is widely and freely available.

among my searching i found another website that will send you a register for about £20 quid.
but its just a ring binder with pre printed paperwork that i sign and keep.
i already have a incorporation cert, shares cert and my articles of association in word format and pdf format.
im confused aswell, maybe thats why the question is not coming across well.
any help appreciated

we're appreciated for out witty banter
the nore Q'sthe more chance of more of the same
Galaxyclass I'm glad you asked !
C
G class is it just your annual return they are prompting you for?
as said above you need to sumbit this (no reminder from companies house) annually with a fee of around £15
failure to do so annually will result in an approx £100 fine
