March 14, 200917 yr comment_228931 Hi, Does anybody have some reccomendations for usb to seral converters which will work with Galaxy panels? have anybody used these with some of the SCC's that are out there? Any recomendations for the Expresscard/PCMCIA cards that might work? I currently use a USB232-p25, it works fine witgh Visonic gear but not the galaxy, the RSS s/w does not see the port. March 14, 200917 yr comment_228961 bought a couple from Ebay, for a few quid. Work fine. Just remember which usb slot you set the thing up on, and use that every time.... March 14, 200917 yr comment_229007 express card/pcmcia will be a true rs232 port and should function 100% , usb ones can sometimes have timing issues and they are not a true serial port as they are a software emulated device.
