Hello,

I am replacing an old Bell Box with a Texecom Odyssey 3 Bell Box.

Can anyone advise me which wire from the Alarm Control Panel goes to which connection on the Bell Box

I have included photo's of the control panel and bell box.

The wires from the control panel that I need help with are as follows:

Strobe + Yellow

Strobe - Green

T (SCB) White

A (SCB) Black

Bell + Red

Bell - Blue

Any help would be very much appreciated cheers

Many Thanks,

Steve.

You are both correct, the picture shows my old control panel as I don't have a picture of my new panel which I have replaced it with.

The new panel is a Optima XM XLConcept 6 but has almost the same connections as the old. I bought it for this reason, so that I could take out the old and install a new replacement.

The Bell Box also needed replacing but this is where I am having the problem with identifying where the wires go?

Can either of you gentlemen help me please?

Thanks, Steve.

Green to STRB

Black to 0V

White to Tamp

Blue to Bell

Red to +12V

and take the yellow out of the terminal in the control panel and tape it up or cut it off so it can't touch anything else

That's great, I was confused why there was 6 wires from the control panel and only 5 in the Bell Box :)

Just one other question, should the Bell Box have the jumper set to SCB or SAB?

Thanks very much for your time :)

Best Wishes,

Steve.
